I dont find this peice particularly off putting, its just not my cup of tea... I think its the combination of beads that just dont do it for me... Also the type of bracelet it is, is not appealing to me.

"What were they thinking ?" - was he caption next to this on the blog a founf it on... Couldn' agree more! I mean those heads, the chains and (it gets worst) the legs!!!! I think this is totally over the top and completely kitch! www.echostains.wordpress.com

Brokenfab is a high fashion label specializing in handed-beading jewellery. They take their inspiration from music and club culture and today's urban landscape and intreprets it into textile design, fashion, accessories and artwork....

I thnk the use of colour, texture and geometric design is just so pleasing and I love the concept behind the work.

Having been a makeup artist for a few years, i still love and appreciate beautiful work. This look is just stunning, totally my kind of makeup ( of course amoung many other looks...). I just think this is so feminine and soft whie at the same time chic edgey and dramatic. Those strong eyes and light pastel lips perfectly balance one another...

Well well well!! Now look at this beautiful piece of design genious...

The line on this car are just out of this world. They are senual, sexy, curvasious, everything a man looks for in a women... oh sorry a car ;)

I love the use of the stripe down the side of the car, i think it adds to the line of the car and also just adds a bit of details... Something to set this beauty apart from the rest. That front grill and head lights is so geometric and is completely in contrast with the rest of the car, but this is its signiture feature. its identity!

AND! Lets face it, Betty Boop would love a ride in this car....

While I understand and appreciate the architectal elements to this design, I am i sucker for something homely... I can imagen this house to be cold, slightly impersonal, very minimalistic and some what scary to live in. After all it does in some ways resemble a prison... hmmmm
This particular piece is probably the epitomy of the kind of jewellery I don't like... I find it looks mass produced, commerial, generic and kitch. I realise these are very harsh words but i just think there is so much more one can do with the design element of a ring. I do enjoy the 2 tone in the use of metal but that 'flower'... KITCH KITCH KITCH!!!

While researching for our latest design project (Jewellery fit for a King or Queen), I stumbled across this... I can't say it something i would wear but it definitely shows the importance of a design process - an idea/inspiration which is then worked into a piece of jewellery. I feel that my design process is not one of my strengths and is something I need to work on this year... So lets begin!
